UPDATE: These are dates for the 2015 EOC events.
End of Course STAAR tests exams for Algebra, Biology, and US History have been scheduled for May 4 and 5, 2015.
On Monday, May 4, students will take the Algebra EOC exam. All students are required to arrive at the standard start of school, 8:30 a.m., regardless of if they are taking the exam.
Students taking the exam will be directed to a specific testing room and begin testing. Below is a QR code that will be posted throughout the school to help students find their rooms. Additionally, you can use the following link to access that information.
All other students will have roughly the same standard school day with a traditional nine period bell schedule, however students may have classes in alternate rooms for that day.
Following completion of the exam time at 2 p.m. May 4, all classes will return to regular schedule in their regular rooms. Dismissal will continue at 3:47 p.m. Students who have early release will be allowed to leave at their normal time.
Tuesday, May 5 is different. Both the Biology and US History EOC exams will be given starting at 8:30 a.m. in designated testing rooms (see above for links to room information). Testing students will be in those room from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and include a break for lunch. Following 2 p.m., all students will return to a regular schedule and attend their 8th and 9th period classes before dismissal at 3:47 p.m.
Non-testing students will have early arrival on May 5. The schedule shows non-testing students will check in with attendance between 11:15 and 11:30 a.m. before cycling through lunch and assemblies in the gym and Fine Arts Center.
Administrators note that the provided schedule is subject to change. Additional details will be provided on this page as they are available.
