Coach Tim Thomas is a Timber Creek economics teacher, football coach, and also the rapper of the hit song “Purple Out,” which debuted two years ago.
But on Sept. 8, Thomas issued a challenge — if he got 500 retweets on a Tweet from his official teacher account by Wednesday night, then would release a new song featuring a student guest rapper.
And the campaign worked — on Sept. 9 Thomas released “WIN (Purple Out Remix)” through his SoundCloud account. See the Tweet announcing the track below.

There was a second part of the tweet saying if he got 1,000 retweets he would not only release the new song, he would also do a live performance of the song Friday during the Homecoming pep rally with a secret special guest. Feel free to retweet that original tweet embedded below.
