Timber Creek student Bailee O’Brien shows animals for Future Farmers of America (FFA) and brought her year-old heifer, Reba, to her Advanced Animal Science class to wash and blow dry her for a show Nov. 14 show.
TCHS Agriculture teacher Whitney Hurd also used Reba as a tool for teaching, bringing her 2A class out to the green house to demonstrate to the students how to properly wash a cow.
O’Brien washed and worked up Reba’s hair to get her looking fluffy prior to the show, then placed and advanced in the Saturday, Nov. 14 competition in Decatur.
