Several Timber Creek students who auditioned for the All-Region band last Saturday went on to the next phase held last Monday night. Many players were able to make the final cut, some even proceeding to Area auditions.
“It feels great knowing all my hard work and effort paid off,” says bassoon player Alexis Capitano. “Making region as a freshman is an accomplishment few can say they have achieved. I’m proud of not only everyone who made it, but also everyone who gave their all on Saturday and Monday at auditions. It feels awesome.”
Area auditions will be held after the holiday break. We asked percussionist Sam Schlebach how he plans on preparing for it.
“Live and breathe percussion,” Schlebach simply says.
