This year is the eighth consecutive year that Keller ISD will be hosting the Film Festival.
The Film Festival is a competition for students to show their cinematic brilliance. There are 7 entry categories to choose from – Story, Documentary, Comedy, PSA Plus, Animation, Music Video and a new “Day in the Life” category.
You can enter your own film, submit one with friends, or work with your teacher for a class-produced entry.
The entry period begins on Jan. 5, 2016 and ends Feb. 29, but students should start thinking and planning for their films now.
Prizes and awards will be given to the winners of each category. Finalists will be honored at an Oscar-style Awards Ceremony, which will be held at Cinemark Alliance’s XD theater. There will be a red carpet and photo opportunities.
