Timber Creek Boys Soccer team has a new look this year after previous Assistant Varsity Coach John Besancon was named Head Coach over the summer.
“Our preparation for this upcoming season has been the strongest ever,” Besancon said.
Besancon believes that within Timber Creek’s district there isn’t a team the team feels like they can’t beat. He says he wants to instill the belief that they can beat any other team.
“There is a buzz amongst the team and coaching staff due to the level of talent and chemistry we have on the team,” Besancon said.
This year there is a strong senior leadership from players who have played in this program for four years. There are 16 returning varsity members, and 11 seniors this year. This year the team believes that they will finish at the top of the table with teams like Central.
