FFA students will be in Fort Worth this weekend continuing to show animals.
Students have shown a couple different animals over the last two weeks, but as the stock show is winding down there are only a few more shows. This weekend on Saturday, Jan. 30, Junior Darby Thanisch will be showing her sheep.
These students have raised goats, sheep, rabbits, heifers, and chickens since the beginning of the school year and now they’re preparing to show the Fort Worth Stock Show judges what Timber Creek is really about.
The animals are judged on many different things such as body structure, behavior and correct standing position. Depending on where the student’s animal places, students can receive ribbons and scholarships.
Best of luck to the rest of Timber Creek’s FFA students and their animals.
