For those who are interested in enrolling at Tarrant County College (TCC), representatives from TCC will be visiting on Jan. 7 and 8 to help students with their required Pre-assessment Activity (PAA) and online applications in the library.
The students will be excused from their classes to work on these requirements. There will be a schedule sent out with the names of the students and their classes with more information involving this event. The information on how to sign up will be coming soon.
Then, on Feb. 23, there will be employees from TCC and the counselors at our school to help students fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in the lecture hall or library. They will work with individual families to help them through the process.
For seniors who are just planning on going to college in general, there will be a Financial Aid Night on Jan. 19. This is for seniors and their parents at the Fine Arts Center at TCHS.
Representatives from the TCC Financial Aid department will talk about the financial aid process, help and information on FAFSA, applying for grants and scholarships, as well as the specific timelines for student aid, grants, and scholarships.
