Timber Creek’s Sky Dancers and Violet Belles brought home honors from at a regional dance competition held Feb. 13-14, 2016.
The Sky Dancers won a Super Sweepstakes award at the competition held at Grapevine High School. They also won Choreography Award for Jazz, Military, and Pom (all 3 dances competed), Technique Award for all Jazz, Military, and Pom (all 3 dances competed), and High Point Military (highest scoring Military dance in their category) awards.
The team advanced to the competition’s “winners circle” and placed third out of a total of 47 teams.
The Violet Belles also competed and left with the following awards:

Choreography Awards in Jazz, Pom and Military
Technique Awards in Jazz, Pom and Military
High Point Winner in Military
The following Timber Creek dancers also received honors:
Hailey Richardson – Junior Solo – 3rd runner up Jennifer Meseck – Senior Solo Finalist and 4th runner up April Aguilar, Heather Gray, Sydnee Yeager – 1st place Trio Abbey Dykema, Kristen Fox, Jennifer Meseck, Hannah Morton, Marina Romanyuk, Jaden Sanford – 1st place ensemble
