Timber Creek High School students captured 23 nominations in the 2015-16 Keller ISD Film Fest.
The district will be hosting its Film Fest Award Ceremony on April 5 at Cinemark XD in Alliance Town Center. The K-5 categories will begin at 5 p.m. and the 6-12 will begin at 7 p.m. The District Administration invites anyone and everyone to attend both shows as it will be completely free.
Students from all over the district entered in seven categories from every grade level. Their were six finalists in every category. Clips will be shown at Cinemark XD on the big screen before awards are announced. An award will be given for each category, as well as an award to the campus that produces the most entries.
Timber Creek dominated the finalist listings with 2-4 finalists in each category. Both TCTV and the Broadcast Journalism classes both had high involvement and turned in many entries to give TCHS a chance at the 2015-16 Filmmaker Campus of The Year Award.
