Timber Creek will have their first pep rally on Thursday, Sept. 8, and the theme will be Purple Out. T-shirts for this event are on sale now during lunch for $15. Card or cash is accepted. The Timber Creek varsity football team will be playing against Flower Mound that night. Both the pep rally and football game will be live streamed, courtesy of the broadcasting team at Timber Creek.
Every class will be dismissed at a different time. Here is how it will work: 3:00 p.m. second floor seniors and sophomores will be released. 3:02 p.m. second floor juniors and freshmen. 3:04 p.m. first floor seniors and sophomores. 3:06 p.m. first floor juniors and freshmen. The pep rally on Thursday sept. 8 starts at 3:10 p.m.
The next pep rally will be held on Thursday, Sept. 15 with the theme Timber’s Got Game. The opponent that week is Denton. Both the pep rally and the football game will be live streamed.
Friday, Sept. 23, won’t be a pep rally day, but there will be a parade through the school with the theme Gold Out; “Team Up For St. Jude”. The opposing team is Fossil Ridge. Though the parade and game will not be available live, the football game will be available for viewing the next day.
The pep rallies will start up again in October with the highly anticipated Lights Out blacklight pep rally on Oct. 28. The varsity football team will play against Central that night. The football game will not be live streamed, but the game will be available for viewing the next day.
The last pep rally for the fall semester will be on Thursday, Nov. 3. The theme will be Clash of the Decades, and the varsity football team will play against Abilene. Both the pep rally and football game will be live streamed.
The last pep rally of the year has yet to be determined, details to come. All pep rallies will be in the main gym with viewing of the live stream available in the cafeteria.
