Congratulations to Andrew Bau, Will Cordes, and Harrison Glave for receiving national recognition at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference.
Between June 29 and July 2, 2016 more than 9,380 high school students were in Atlanta, Georgia to connect with other future business leaders and compete in over 65 business and business-related events.
Bau, Cordes, and Glave were honored as finalists in the Computer Game and Simulation Programming events.
“We are extremely proud of not only their individual achievements but all the students that traveled with us to both State and National competition this year,” FBLA advisors, Connie Garcia and Bo Johnson said in a press release. Read the whole release here: Timber Creek FBLA Winners
As well as the competitive events, students participated in workshops, visited exhibits, and heard from motivational speakers on business topics.
With the new school year beginning, the club is eager to get started again.
“Many Students don’t realize the various opportunities that FBLA offers, and that is something we are going to focus on this year at Timber Creek,” Garcia and Johnson said.
