HOSA will be hosting a blood drive for students, teachers, and parents to donate blood on Dec. 6, after school next to the visitors parking lot.
You can reserve a time slot by talking to Mrs. Mallory or Mrs. Hunsucker and pick up a permission slip while there.
Students are required to fill out a permission slip if they are 16 or 17 and must provide a photo ID (drivers license, student ID, etc.).
According to Carter Blood Care, “Every three seconds, there is a person in need of blood. It just takes one pint of blood to save up to three lives. Giving blood is rewarding. It benefits every person involved. Either your life is enriched by volunteering or someone’s life is saved by your donation.”
