Earth Warriors and NHS Host Food Drive

The Timber Creek environmental club, Earth Warriors, will be collaborating with National Honor Society, or NHS, to host a food drive to donate to the Christian Community Storehouse.
The Earth Warrior Historian, Luka Perez explains why they wanted to pursue this project. “During and after the holiday season we’re reminded that we are lucky enough to have gifts and food on our plate, as opposed to many, and we want to give back.”
The drive is open for donations until Tuesday, Jan. 31, when the donations will be given to the Storehouse. Donations can be given by any student, and whichever English class donates the most canned foods will receive a pizza party.

Alaina Richardson is a sophomore at Timber Creek. She is new to the Talon this year. She wants to go to TCU and become a physical therapist. She is learning to drive a motorcycle.
