The Timber Creek swim team competed at their district meet on Saturday, January 21. The Falcons were one out of seven teams competing against the other schools in KISD, as well as alongside Paschal, Haltom, and Byron Nelson.
Boys finished third overall, with Girls placing close behind in fourth. Coach Knapp was awarded the honorable “Coach of the Meet” award. All six relays qualified for Regionals, with the 200 freestyle relay coming less than a second away from breaking the school record. Aside from the relays, nine individuals qualified for Regionals. Regional Competition this year will be held in Lubbock at Texas Tech, from Feb. 2-4. Make sure you wish your Falcon Swimmers good luck!
Those not competing in Regionals will be competing at Non-Regional competition this Saturday, Jan. 28, at Keller ISD Natatorium. The meet starts at 10:30 AM. Tickets are $3 for a student, $5 for an adult, and $3 for a program.
