Timber Creek’s athletes competed in the Ranger Invitational Track Meet that took place on March 25 at Chisholm Trail High School.
Janel Sosa placed first in Girls 400 Meter Dash for Junior Varsity. Natalie Padilla placed first in Girls 1600 Meter Run for Junior Varsity. Evelyn Macias placed first in Girls 3200 Meter Run for Junior Varsity. Erika Barrett placed first in Women 1600 Meter Run for Varsity. Jadyn Wagner placed first in Women 300 Meter Hurdles for Varsity. Chukwuamaka Ezukamna, Claire Ely, Jadyn Wagner and Ayanna Campbell placed first in the Women 4×400 Meter Relay for Varsity.
Camari Scruggs placed first in Boys 200 Meter Dash for Junior Varsity. Jonathan Sanchez placed first in Boys 800 Meter Run and Boys 1600 Meter Run for Junior Varsity. Cameron Watson placed first in Boys 3200 Meter Run for Junior Varsity. Colby Carter, Tyler Parker, Brenden Hayes and Marcus Acrues placed first in Boys 4×400 Meter Relay for Junior Varsity. Derek Marquez-Perez placed first for Men 200 Meter Dash for Varsity. Adrian Allotey placed first in Men 800 Meter Run for Varsity. Braden Lange placed first in Men 1600 Meter Run for Varsity. Jeff Kinard placed first in Men 110 Meter Hurdles and Men 300 Meter Hurdles for Varsity.
The Girl’s Junior Varsity, Boy’s Junior Varsity, Women’s Varsity and Men’s Varsity teams all ranked first in their respective division with the highest number of points earned throughout the meet.
TC track athletes will be competing in the Fossil Ridge Panther Invitational on Friday March 31. In the following week, they will also be participating in the UIL 6A District 3 Meet on Wed. April 5 and Thur. April 6.
