Timber Creek’s Sky Dancers and Violet Belles dance teams took home some of the highest awards at their competition in San Antonio on March 4, 2017.

Just like there are team awards, there are awards for their solos too. There were four students who placed; Hailey Richardson fourth runner-up , Jordan Eldridge third runner-up, Hannah Morton second runner-up, Hayes Harkins first runner-up, and Kristen Drumm winning.
Ensembles consists of smaller groups of people rather than full teams or solos. There were three ensembles that got best in their class. Kaylin Peters and Jaden Sanford won best in class duet, April Aguilar, Heather Gray and Sydnee Yeager won best in class trio, and all the officers won best in class medium ensemble.
“I could come to any one of these girls for anything,” explained sophomore Sky Dancer April Aguilar. “I know I would have their unconditional support and they can all come to me too.”
