Students from grades 7-12 are eligible to submit to the contest, which is judged on originality, skill, and personal voice. Gold key medalist are automatically entered into national, professional judging. These entries can win a National Medal and an invitation to the awards ceremony in New York City. In addition, they are considered for opportunities presented by the Alliance of Young Artists and Writers.
