It’s almost time. Here’s everything you need to know about the Timber Creek Class of 2017 Graduation.
Graduation Rehearsal
All seniors who intend to walk the stage at the graduation ceremony on May 27 are required to attend the preceding dress rehearsal.
If you are not present, you cannot participate in the commencement.
The class practice will be on Friday, May 26, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the small gym.
Seniors are to come prepared with the cap and gown that is to be worn at the actual ceremony.
Following the practice, students will receive a packet with additional information as well as their tickets for guests. If you do not attend, you will NOT receive the tickets.
Lastly, to finish the rehearsal, students will be able to sign the 2017 banner and the traditional senior panoramic picture will be taken.
Graduation Ceremony
The Commencement Ceremony will take place at the UTA College Park Center located at 600 Center Street Arlington, TX 76010
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on May 27, 2017.
Class of 2017 students must arrive and be at the doors by 6:30 a.m.
Family and friends are able to drop-off & pick-up students on Spaniola Drive. Parking is available in the specified areas.
Graduating seniors are to abide by the conduct and attire regulations upon arrival.
You will NOT be permitted into the graduation area if you bring a cell phone, purse, bag or any other item that is deemed inappropriate by campus administration.
If at any point in time your conduct interrupts the ceremony, your participation will be terminated. You will be escorted out of the building.
Hats can be decorated (Top Only) as long as it is appropriate. If deemed inappropriate, your hat is subject to removal.
For the young women, high heels of three inches or less and dress shoes, not exotic or neon colored, are allowed.
For the young men, dark slacks and a collared shirt with dress shoes, not exotic or neon colored, are allowed.
No sneakers, tennis shoes, flip flops, sandals, etc. are permitted in the graduation area.
Parking

Click on your high school, scroll down and then click here for full parking map which shows where the paid and free parking is located. If you click on, get tickets, parking can be purchased early.
Prohibited Items
Certain items will not be aloud during the graduation ceremony. These items include, outside food or drink, weapons, coolers, laser pointers, noise makers, flags/ banners with sticks, tripods, glitter or confetti, streamers, mace or pepper spray, helium balloons, selfie sticks, illegal substances, backpacks or luggage of any kind.
Diplomas and Transcripts
Graduated seniors can pick up their diplomas outside the counseling office from May 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or June 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Transcripts will not be ready to process and sent out until mid to late June. Wait to request your transcript no earlier than May 23 and no later than June 20. Transcripts can be requested through Kellerisd.net, there will be no in person or phone call request. Transcripts can be mailed to a college or university directly from Timber Creek. Due to district policy they cannot be handed to students or parents official transcripts. Unofficial transcript copies can be mailed to students home.
If playing college sports, an additional official transcript can be sent to NCAA.
