Future Business Leaders of America is having their first interest meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 20, in room N201, starting at 4:00 pm. Everett Johnson sponsors the club to allow students who are interested in going into the business world to fulfill their passions by learning and growing in areas such as Finance, Business Management & Administration, Agriculture, A/V Technology and Communication.
Learning through FBLA prepares students for rigorous college courses and helps them become confident while competing with others. Businesses require that one must work with people and FBLA covers that base too.
Competing for FBLA includes the use of skills within leadership, public speaking, and team work. They travel America in order to oppose other competing teams in area, state, and national conferences in heats such as Marketing, Graphic Design, 3D Animation, Job Interview, Accounting, Word Processing, and so much more. From these competitions, students are able to win scholarships ranging up to $1,800.
So if you’re interested in this exceptional opportunity, go to the interest meeting and let your talents shine.
