As the band kicks off the Fight Song, the Timber Creek varsity football players run into four quarters of a game that will turn out to be another Falcon victory against the Flower Mound Jaguars, with the team now 3-0 this season.
By the end of the first quarter, the Falcons had taken a 3 point lead on the Jaguars after senior Ethan Mooney kicked a field goal on a fourth down to prevent a turnover.
In the second quarter, both teams put up a fantastic defense with neither teams scoring for the whole 12 minutes of the quarter.
During halftime the Sky Dancers danced a military routine to “El Gato Caliente” followed by the band performing their contest show titled “Meetings Along The Waters Edge”.
Following halftime, as the players entered the third quarter, both teams stepped up their offense, making for an eventful second half.
By the end of the third, junior Blake Irving was on the carry scoring a touchdown, with Mooney scoring the extra point. Senior Erik Ezukanma also had the reception to score a touchdown bringing Timber Creek to have a 16 point lead on Flower Mound.
Entering the fourth, Irving scored a final touchdown for the Falcons bringing Timber Creek to a 22 point lead. Towards the end of the half, senior Alec Brooks finally scored a touchdown for the Jaguars with senior Clayton Stewart also earning the extra point bringing the final score to 22 to 7 earning the third Falcon win of the season.
