Tonight the Timber Creek Falcons take on the Azle Hornets, in a non-conference home game at Keller ISD Stadium.
Fresh off a win against Nimitz, The Falcons are looking to start off their season 2-0, while the Hornets are trying to bounce back, after a blowout loss to Grapevine.
Timber Creek’s run game, led by running back, Blake Irving, and quarterback, Dylan Mccrary, showed superb skill, as they combined for three touchdowns on the ground.
Once again the Falcon’s star wide receiver, Erik Ezukanma put on an aerial show against Nimitz, the highlight being his sensational one-handed TD reception.
Azle was completely overplayed by Grapevine in their last game, only managing to score 10 points to Grapevine’s 34, there is obviously room for improvement on the part of the struggling Hornets.
Tonight is for sure going to be a hard fought game on both sides, in this non conference Texas Football action.
