Texas Christian University will be hosting a Air Force ROTC info session on Oct.17 at 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Sid Richardson lecture hall four. Parents are encouraged to attend. The information seminar is meant to provide JROTC students about their program at TCU and other crosstown schools, such as University of Texas at Arlington, Texas Women’s University, Tarrant Community College, Dallas Baptist University and Weatherford College.
Students will receive the opportunity to interact with other cadets and have any questions about the AFROTC program at TCU answered. The seminars main goal is to give students a wealth of knowledge and to provide additional options for future ventures.
Lieutenant Colonel Darin M. Gregg understands that students gain experience from attending the seminar, particularly for ones interested in the service field.
“It’s never too soon for these students to start preparing for the career they will have after they finish their studies,” said Gregg, “we will provide them with the training to develop the skills and character needed to become a world-class officer.”
