Spanish Honor Society is looking for about 30 more members for 2018, and spots are filling up quick. Here are the requirements:
- Must be enrolled in the second semester of Spanish II or a higher level Spanish class at the same time of turning in an application. However, it is not required to take a Spanish course the following year.
- Has to have a 90 or higher semester average in an on-level Spanish course, or an 80 or higher semester average in an AP/Pre-AP level course, for three consecutive semesters in a row.
- Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors only.
All applications are due Feb. 16.
Meetings will be held in room S114, Señora William’s classroom on the third Wednesday of every month after school. The makeup meetings will be held on that following Friday morning.
“The purpose of Spanish Honor Society is to recognize high achievement in Spanish by students of secondary schools and to promote continuity of interest in Hispanic studies,” Williams, the sponsor for Spanish Honor Society said.
