3-6A District Awards were announced for Timber Creek girls and boys varsity basketball teams last week, as Timber Creek took the awards by storm. Both squads had countless amounts of nominations and it was a great sign for the coaches to see their players get recognition.
Guys varsity basketball had a well received year, finishing the season in the playoffs, and having plenty of exciting performances individually as well. With a tremendous outcome this season, the Falcon boys were able to put another successful season under their belt.
“[This] season was a success,” said Head Coach Brad Mouser. “[We] had a really good year, [winning] 20 games, and [making] it to the playoffs again back-to-back, which is first time in school history in Boys basketball. [I am] very proud of this group.”
Likewise, the girls varsity closed their successful season with one of their best finishes in school history.
Ending as Bi-District Champions was not something the group took for granted. The team proved their ability this season by taking over 3-6A in a calmly fashion.
