On Wednesday, Aug. 28, Keller ISD and AVID will celebrate National College Colors Day. Teachers and students alike are encouraged to support their favorite college by wearing all its gear, including hats, shirts, backpacks, etc.
“I will be wearing a Texas State University shirt [on college colors day]”, senior Grace Havenstrite said. “I decided to go tour it this summer and I fell in love with the campus and the people there.”
College colors day is designed to not only promote college readiness but also help students see which fellow peers share their college interests.
