French club is an opportunity for students with a common love for the French language and culture to come together. The first meeting will be on Wednesday, Sept. 25 after school in room S109.
This first meeting will be important, as it will be going over who the officers are, future meeting times, dues, activities, and t-shirts. In the past, French club meetings have consisted of eating food, watching French films, and conversing about France and its regions in general.
Contrary to popular belief, students do not have to be registered for a French class, or even know how to speak the language to join. French club sponsor Dorothy McFarland encourages anyone and everyone to join with an interest in France to attend the meeting.
“Venez nombreux,” said McFarland. (That’s “y’all come” in French).
