Spirit nights are an opportunity for the graduating class to collect the funds necessary for them to have a fun, memorable senior year. Bringing fellow class mates together, it is a time to eat good food while also making memories. The next spirit for the class of 2020 will be on Thursday, Sept. 26 at Menchie’s from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
In order for the class of 2020 to benefit from the spirit night, patrons need to mention Timber Creek, or show the spirit night flier. Click here to see the flier.
“The money raised from the spirit nights helps us pay for the high costs of prom,” class of 2020 historian Ethan John said. “We are trying to make this year’s prom better than ever before but that doesn’t come with a cheap price tag.”
Going to fundraisers is not only bonding moments with family and friends, but by taking a picture while at the fundraiser and using the hashtag #pix4promtix20, students are put in a raffle to win cool prizes such as gift cards or even a free prom ticket.
“This is a great opportunity to just hang with friends and meet new people,” John said. “I actually met new people while at the Panera fundraiser last month.”
