In attempts to give students an opportunity to get ready for finals week, Student Council will be hosting a study session in the library on Sunday, Dec. 15 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. All students are welcome, and encouraged to bring friends. Snacks, drinks, and holiday tunes will be provided.
Student Body Officer, Allison Souimaniphanh, talked about the beneficial aspects of the session.
“It is a great opportunity for students to get together and study,” Souimaniphanh said. “It is a calm environment where students can relax and get ready for finals.”
Having the opportunity to attend the study session last year, Student Body Officer Khyra White, explained that she accomplished a considerable amount of classwork, making her feel more confident for her upcoming exams.
“Last year was great, I got to catch up with friends, eat snacks, and there was Christmas music playing in quietly in the background,” White said. “I got tons of time to work and and felt much more prepared for my midterms as the week began.”
