The Law Club will be holding an informational meeting on Thursday, Sept. 10 from 5-6 p.m. on Zoom. Students who are interested in joining need to fill out this form bit.ly/lawclub or check out their newsletter here to get all the information for the meeting. 

The three branches that make up Law club are Law Enforcement, Forensic Science, and the Court System/Mock Trial team.

Law Enforcement is for students wanting to be apart of SWAT, FBI, or police. They compete in categories dealing with building search, stop and frisk, prison design, and practice arrests.

Forensic Science is for those who want to be in crime scene analysis or forensic sciences. They work on actives such as blood splatter and crime scene analysis.

Mock Trail Team is for future attorneys, judges and lawyers and great for actors. They compete against other teams in a court room going through the court procedures.

 “Members can participate in one, two or all three branches,” club advisor Nichole Samilo said.  “We offer an all access pass into the world of law enforcement, forensic science, and the courtroom. From the crime scene to the courtroom, we have it all, and we want you on the team.”

The Mock Trial team will take students who interested in theatre for witness roles. These roles require learning lines and performing a believable act in a courtroom.
