After much uncertainty Homecoming has finally come. Even with no dance, parade, or carnival Student Council and Cheer still had a lot of preparation on their plate. Student Council had a work day on Oct. 3 from 8a.m. to 3p.m. to make and set up all of the decorations.

To keep everyone who was helping safe, Student Council made sure numbers were low and that everyone was wearing a mask. The Student Body Officers worked really hard to facilitate the workday and the making and putting up of the decorations and we really appreciate everyone that signed up and came to help!” Student Body Officer Zoe Mukendi said.

The theme for this year is ‘Destination HOCO’, so student council worked to make each hallway a different “destination”. Including south hall being South Asia and north hall being North America.

“We wanted the falcon community to feel as a family, both in person and remote, and lift their spirits during this troubling time,” Student Body Officer Ishaan Patel said. “This years HOCO may not be ideal but we are wanting to make the best of it!
