Following a Twitter dispute on Jan. 2, a phone call between President Trump and Georgia Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger was leaked, in which details of Trump encouraging Raffensperger to alter the state’s election results in the presidential race became unsurfaced. The controversy here is that despite rallying around the idea that the 2020 election results were a result of voter fraud, the incriminating call shows Trump attempting to alter election results with fraud himself with the call getting more and more threatening in nature as it goes on. With various pro-Trump rallies attempting to change the results of the election, this recording calls into question just how much of Trump’s campaign strategy and the votes he received were legitimate.
