On September 15, at 4:10 p.m., in room N127, there will be a Cultural Student Union Meeting created by sophomore, Dorian Crutchfield. This is a new student-run organization where students can develop new relationships.

“The Cultural Student Union is a group of students that meet together and connect over culture, race, ethnicity, and origin.” Crutchfield said. “Our goal is to make a stronger, culturally-proud, student body here at Timber Creek.”

For student leadership, there will be a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Reporters, Historians, Presenters, and a Moderator. At meetings, they plan to discuss different cultures and their significance.

“I came up with this club after seeing that our student body was so culturally different, yet we all have similarities. In that, we can develop better mindsets and connect.” Crutchfield said.
