On Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, the Pink Out pep rally will be held in the big gym during first period instead of eighth. The pep rally will be from 8:20 – 9:10 a.m. Instead of attending first period, students will have the option of attending the Pink Out pep rally or sit in the cafeteria until the beginning of second period.
Students that wish to participate in the pep rally scan the QR code below to have the chance to play one of the man games student council hosts.
All pre-ordered pink-out shirts can be picked up during all lunches. Leftover shirts that haven’t been purchased already will be sold for $20 in the cafeteria. Half of all proceeds will go towards breast cancer awareness.
The Pink Out game will be held at the Keller ISD Stadium at 7 p.m. Pre-sale tickets will end before the game begins tomorrow. To pre-order tickets for the game CLICK HERE. Tickets at the stadium will be sold for $8 each.
The cheer team is holding a moment during pre-game where students are encouraged to bring signs and posters in support of people who have been affected by breast cancer. The team will also provide signs for participants to hold.
Teachers will also be able to purchase jean passes until Oct. 14. For every $15 donated, teachers will receive a jean pass and be able to wear jeans and spirit wear until the end of next week. All donations will go towards the American Cancer Society. Donations will be collected through Timber Creek’s donation site HERE. After a donation has been made, email Coach Fickle at alisha.fickle@kellerisd.net your room number so she can send a sign stating that you are participating.
