Students and families will get an opportunity to listen and get their questions answered about all things to do with Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
The event will be held at Fossil Ridge High School on Thursday, February 10 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All students and families from all Keller ISD high school campuses are more than welcomed to attend the event.
HBCU’s are institutions of higher learning in the United States that were established to primarily serve the African-American community. KISD Parents and students will be able to hear from distinguished HBCU alumni to do with all things HBCU’s have to offer, along with traditionally Black sororities and fraternities. Two lucky students in attendance will have a chance of being awarded a $1,000 scholarship for attending an HBCU.
