For the first time in a long time, a fine arts department musical is underway that includes all departments – Theatre, Choir, Band, Art, and Dance. Mr. Robertson in the Black Box in the Theatre hall is administering the entire event, with the help of other fine arts teachers. “The goal is to make this the biggest musical that Keller ISD has ever seen.” Mr. Robertson said.

For this performance the Band and Orchestra will be playing live music on stage. Choir will sing with the Orchestra and in the show as well. Sky dancers plan to be a part of a dance number and Art will be creating a gallery.

Everyone is welcome to participate however, to audition you must to bring a prepared monologue, a song, and participate in the dance audition. If you are interested and are unsure what to audition with, the directors will provide you with a monologue and song from Pippin. “We are looking to cast over 100 students in the show, this is the kinda show where if anybody’s interested there’s a part for you somewhere. Come audition and come be involved.” said Robertson

Auditions will be held after school on September 27th, while callbacks will be September 28th and 29th. This show will be performed on December 2nd through the 4th and additionally 8th through the 10th, which makes six showtimes.
