For Cheyenne Hailey, starting her own boutique has always been a dream. With the goal to show girls that confidence can change just based on an outfit, Hailey decided she was ready to start up her online store named “Hey Haileys” during quarantine in 2020.
“I’ve always wanted to start a boutique and I’ve always wanted to create a place that made girls feel confident and beautiful as every girl is,” Hailey said.
Though a pandemic wasn’t ideal to start the process of setting up her boutique, Hailey stayed motivated when it came to pursuing her dreams. Hailey understood the challenges and took into account what may come during such uncertain times. Even with some difficulties along the way, Hailey found ways to overcome them.
“My biggest challenge is that a lot of people want to try on clothes before they buy them,” Hailey said. “I try to do a try-on haul with each outfit so I can showcase how it fits and how it looks.”
Hailey’s father acted as a huge inspiration in the beginning of her journey often giving her the extra push she needed to achieve her goals.
“My dad has always inspired me to be a better version of myself and to find something I love and pursue it,” she said. “Once I did find something I love when I started working at a boutique, I just knew this was something I wanted to do and I wanted to do it sooner than later.”
Within the next two to four years, Hailey hopes her boutique continues to grow bigger.
“I’m hoping I can make a store front,” Hailey said.
Even in these difficult times, Haley has found a way to make women feel beautiful through fashion.
