On Sunday, Jan. 5, actress Laura Dern took home her fifth Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture for her portrayal of vicious divorce attorney Nora Fanshaw in Noah Baumbach’s ‘Marriage Story.’ The film truly is one of the best of 2019, and that is largely thanks to Dern.

Timber Creek’s social studies educators have worked tirelessly to ensure that their students are equipped with the knowledge and tools to leave this world better than they found it. They deserve to be celebrated for their work because without them, so many students would not know what it’s like to want to change the world.
