Timber Creek High School will conduct their 2017 STAAR EOC English testing March 28 and 30, 2017.
The English 1 end of course exam will be held March 28 and the English 2 exam will be held March 30. On both days, non-testing students will have a regular, B Day schedule with no bells during the school day.
Testing room assignments can be looked up via the following link or by scanning a QR code placed around the building (and shown below)

In the event a student is absent on their assigned testing day, we will communicate the next available retesting date. We ask for your support in ensuring that the student is in attendance on the day of testing and that you avoid appointments or early releases during this time. Late students, who arrive after testing has begun, will not be able to test that day.

STAAR EOC INFORMATION:
The STAAR EOC English Tests have a 5 hour time limit. Students will also be eating lunch in their test centers, so they need to bring a sack lunch to school for their testing day. Students will be able to purchase a sack lunch before school in the cafeteria if they do not bring one. No outside deliveries will be accepted.
Testing will conclude around 2:30 p.m., which will allow students to return to their classes for the remainder of the day.
As always, students who are testing are expected to be well-rested, arrive on time, and be mentally prepared for testing.
CELL PHONES/ELECTRONIC DEVICES:
Student test results will be invalidated for possession and/or use of any electronic devices (i.e. cell phone, IPOD, MP3 player, Fitbit, Apple watches or any watch/device with phone/internet capability, etc.) during campus testing time. It is strongly encouraged that students leave these items at home on testing days, if possible.
On testing days, classes will be held as normal for other grade levels. In some cases, classes will be moved to other locations in the building due to their classrooms being used for testing. Students will be notified in advance of these relocations, signs will be posted, and administrators will be available to help guide students to the correct location on testing days.

GENERAL INFO FOR TESTING DAYS:
M Hallway outside M 217-227 upstairs and S Hall (up and down) will be closed to all non-testing traffic, so be aware of how that impacts your routes around school.
Attendance for non-testing students will be taken and classes will be happening on a regular B Day schedule — so show up.
Floating teachers who are not involved with the EOC administration on March 28th will have their class relocated to the small gym.
All ROTC, KCAL, and KMS students will report to the attendance office for attendance documentation and proceed on to the Fine Arts Center for their class period.
