Student Council Plans to Educate On Cancer

Student Council will be shining a light on various cancers the week of April 18 – 21. The goal of CARE (Cancer Awareness Research Education) Week is to bring awareness to different cancers and to educate ourselves on the causes of said cancer.

On Friday students are invited to wear the color of the cancer that has affected them most. Additionally, students can write letters to cancer patients at Cook’s Children’s Hospital.

All students are highly encouraged to participate in CARE Week and unite together. By doing so, we will be able to do something for a greater cause.
