On Tuesday, Oct. 5th, the Falcon volleyball team will be celebrating senior Halle Sherlock achieving her 1000th assist. The Yale-commit Sherlock has elevated the team’s play over the last four years through leadership on and off the court.

From October 4 through 14 Keller ISD will be hosting a winter clothing drive across all KISD campuses. Each year KISD has students in desperate need for warm clothes that rely on this drive for their winter clothing.
Since taking office, President Joe Biden has yet to pass a major democratic bill, this could all change with the proposed spending bill in the House. The Biden-Harris campaign in 2020 ran on the Build Back Better Plan Platform, which is a series of bills that cover a variety of problems. From infrastructure, expanding healthcare, and the plans to solve the climate change crisis, the Build Back Better Plan is a keystone in this administration’s legacy.
Late Thursday night President Joe Biden signed a funding bill that would put a hold on the government shut down set to expire at midnight on Thursday. The stopgap measure extends funding to the government until Dec. 3.

On Thursday, Sept. 30, Project Graduation is hosting a spirit night at Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt Alliance 9530 Feather Grass Lane from 5-9 p.m. 20% of all proceeds will go towards the class of 2022 Project Graduation.
On Sept. 30 the 4th annual wrestling pancake fundraiser will be held on the football field from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The breakfast-for-dinner meal costs $5 a person. There is also a to-go option for those who wish to eat at home.
History Club has their first meeting Wednesday, September 29 in room S210. The meeting will begin after school, students are encourage to stay for as long as they can.
